My sister booked the whole place for her 40th birthday. Amazing location. Its based up a fairly rough track passable in a normal car but care required. Basic accommodation but clean and well looked after. Hostel was warm beds were bunks but comfortable. Showers basic but hot

Spent 2 weeks here in June. Fantastic location for a walking break, situated in the shadow of some classic fells. Food is good, kitchen is large but basic. Shared rooms are reasonable but could do with a bit of TLC - but that's hostel living for you! Would stay again - it's the location that sells this great little hostel!

Just spent 2 nights here in the most beautiful location. Staff friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious at only £4.95 per person. Mattress was a little uncomfortable although after all the walking I slept like a log. Will definately be back.
