Me and my husband stayed here for a weekend break just to relax and we could not fault anything. The whole place is immaculate, the owners are really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was perfect. Really don't have anything negative to say. We would definitely return.

We have just come back from our weekend break at Millers Beck and could not fault it. The room was immaculate and the hosts could not do enough. Breakfast was first class, we will definately be going back later in the year.

We found this little gem on the internet for a recent visit to the Northern Lakes. The Mill dates from the early 1600's so you can imagine the character of the building from the beams and the thickness of the walls. Millers Beck is a few miles south of Kendal, we found the location perfect for visiting the Borrowdale Valley,... More

This is a great place to base yourself for the Lakes district. The hosts were amazing, going above and beyond with their service. We enjoyed the quiet location and the views we had from our spotless and elegant room. Paul's conserves are to be savoured, absolutely delicious.

Stayed for our second time during the last bank holiday. Great place, rooms spotless and comfortable. Breakfast all you can ask for, even down to the home made jams. We had the millwheel room with veiws over the fells. Nice little lounge to relax in if needed. We had a look round some of the rooms, including the self catering... More

I booked a night at this B&B as an overnight stop enroute from south coast of England to Inverness. It's just a few miles from J36 of the M6 and easy to find. I stayed in a small double room which was really nice; only dislike for me was it's outlook onto a stone wall barn which rendered the room... More

Had to stay overnight near Kendal and chose Millers Beck because we had seen it from the road previously. The hotel was welcoming - nothing too much trouble - clean and well presented, with all of the facilities you might expect plus some delightful scenery. Our room was large and recently refurbished with a spotless bathroom and comfortable beds. Breakfast... More

Needed a place to stay near Kendal for three days whilst attending a course. Considering the price I thought I'd booked into something that would 'just about do'. I was very much in for a pleasant surprise: 1) Clean, tidy and kept that way! Absolutely spotless. Owner takes pride in this and keeps it that way. 2) Location - couple... More
