8 of us stayed for new year, rooms very nice, clean, had everything that you needed! Owners very friendly! One downside of Keswick for me was its too dog friendly! Dogs allowed everywhere! Other than this it was nice : )

We've stayed here twice in summer 2012 and found it to be really great and a place we'd return to again many times. The bedroom we had was very clean and nicely decorated and furnished, and the en-suite is very good too. Hosts very welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. Ready to offer information on the local area. Breakfasts (with...

The room was comfortable, tastefully furnished with attention to detail, and impeccably clean. A copious full English breakfast, with a vegetarian option, was provided, in addition to toast, cereals, yoghurt, and...

A really lovely b and b. We stayed for just one night as a stop over and booked last minute. The owners couldn't be more helpful, the decor in the house is lovely and the breakfast was a generous portion. I would recommend to anyone. Also Keswick is a really nice little town.

From the short-list I was given, the Yew Tree House was the first I phoned, and they had a room free for the following night. It was a comfortable place and I appeared to be the only person staying...
