We ate here as a group of 6 recently. The building is in a lovely location, the restuarant is pleasant clean with nice views. The waitress is very brusque but in fairness to her she seemed to be running all of the front of house operation by herself. The food was "ok' but the committed the cardinal sin of serving... More

Stayed at the Keswick Lodge in early December with a group of friends. It was fantastic! The hotel is of a really high quality - the best I have stayed in after many years of staying in the Keswick area. We had an amazing deal for dinner, bed and breakfast. The rooms were luxurious, the food was great and the... More

The Derwent Lodge does a very good Sunday Lunch. The food is good and they do half portions which are ample for we wrinklies and excellent value. Also they serve a good pint of Jennings Bitter and have quite a reasonable wine list. More

This immaculately presented small and friendly 3* hotel has a multitude of 4* touches. e.g. L'Occitane toiletries, super fluffy towels and his/hers robes and slippers, superb mattress, pillows and bedding. This is all in addition to great staff, fantastic and very reasonably priced food. The hotel is in a tranquil location, with stunning views. Could i be any more positive... More

We have just returned from a weekend break at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was one of the standard rooms but was lovely and comfortable with a view over the garden. The hotel provided nice extra touches biscuits with the tea and coffee making facilities and very nice... More

We stayed at the Derwent Lodge Hotel for one night last week. I've done alot of travelling and stayed in many hotels etc but despite this there is always the worry about the accommodation level no matter what! We trawled through countless hotel search engines and found this one and it certainly didn't disappoint - (good reviews on laterooms). Although... More

We stayed at this hotel which overlooks Derwent Water. We had a lakeside view room, the room was wonderful it had a shower wc and basin and a separate bathroom with whirlpool. The bedroom was exceedingly will furnished. The dinner and breakfast was great and the staff exceedingly friendly and attentive. Would we stay again defiantly. More
