Beautiful. Best bathroom and amenities I’ve ever seen in a guest accommodation, including luxury bath salts and toothbrush/toothpaste (though the bath salts were not replenished once used). Shelving for toiletries, washcloths, lighted mirror, bathtub with shower fixture. Heated towel rail (not on during day). Unfortunately, double sink faucets; I so much prefer a single faucet. Tub should have a grab...

Spotlessly clean & comfortable. I was in single room which some may find a bit small but I think was perfectly adequate for my needs for 1 night though if you are staying longer you might want something bigger. Close to the centre, really good breakfast, friendly and fast internet connection. What more would you need?

A most comfortable, well decorated and spotlessly clean guest house. Breakfast good with selection of tasty local foods, all well presented. Good base for a weekend break.

Wow. A beautifully decorated, stylish guest house with warm welcoming hosts and a magnificent breakfast. In the room there was an almost bewildering choice of teas and coffee, plus biscuits, chocolates, fresh fruit and sweets. Would recommend this to anyone!

Stayed here 1 night whilst doing business in the area and my wife wanted a nice place to stay, and this was it. Leon and Debbie a very pleasant and helpful with parking assistance. The B & B is beautifully furnished, and the rooms are spotlessly clean. Congrats to housekeeping. We had what was named a deluxe suite and imagined...

With a lack of good hotels in Penrith the up-market bed and breakfast properties fill the gap. Among the best is the Brooklands Bed and Breakfast close to the centre of Penrith. We have stayed there previously and again for 2 nights from the 12 November, The service and level of comfort remain as good as ever.
We opted for...

Stayed here with a group of six doing the C2C. From stepping into Brooklands and feeling and seeing the quality of the interior, to sleeping in a most comfortable bed, to having a breakfast with strawberry's, rasberry's and blackberries; it was all excellent.
This is run by hosts who have provided top quality, attention to detail, great value and a...

Perhaps one thing I might add to the already glowing list of reviews for Brooklands is the issue of fantastic consistency. I've been staying at Leon and Debbie's jewel off and on for over 5 years now. If I have to visit the NW on business then Brooklands is my 'default setting' - no where else. Too often, places have...

We stayed just one night here on our way between the Lake District and Hadrian's Wall. We were extremely impressed (and a little surprised by how grand it feels). For £75 we were not expecting a 4 poster bed, or the number of comforts in the room (fruit, biscuits, a cooler/fridge and a very comfortable bath tub). We were also...
