We have stayed here a number of times and yet again Jane and Steve delivered their very unique and personal 5 star service. Attention to detail is obvious and nothing seems a chore. The food is plentiful and varied, the bar is cosy, rooms are spacious and immaculate and the location is just far enough away from the madness of the city centre. Incredible value for money!! Inevitably we will return soon.

Jane and Steve are a very friendly couple with a warm welcome. We have stayed at The Croydon many times and enjoyed our stay every time we have been. Jane’s breakfast is second to none and the rooms are beautifully clean and tidy. There is a friendly well stocked bar on the premises and the hotel is very close to the sea front on the north promenade. It is very easy to get around from this bed and breakfast. We have not had difficulty parking when we have been and The Croydon has some parking at the back of the premises if arranged with Jane and Steve. We love it here.

I found Jane and Steve most welcoming and treated us like long lost friends. The breakfast was hot and filling with plenty of tea coffee and orange juice available. Our room was warm and cosy with plenty of places to hang and put our clothes. Having not been to Blackpool for over 30 years the boarding house has lost the Rising Damp Rigsbyesque feel and felt like home from home definitely will be staying there again.
