What first strikes you when you enter the reception at Rubens is the really warm welcome that you get from Ashley and Lara, you know at that point you have made the right choice, it is like home from home, they really can't do enough for you. I booked a last minute nite away for myself and rang the hotel direct. The lady on the telephone was really pleasant. Just back from another great break at Rubens in Blackpool. As usual Ash and Lara the most welcoming hosts and even the addition of a four legged host who sneaked in to welcome us. Our first experience here was so good that whenever we return to Blackpool we always check with the Rubens first. Sometimes they are full, so we have to go elsewhere, and our stay is never as satisfactory. Ashley and Lara are perfect hosts, nice bar where you can mix with other guests. Very good service all round... Breakfast, cups of coffee and even ironed my outfit!!! More

from when we got there utill when we went home they made us feel so welcome .. we was there with are 3 kids for my sons 18th . lots to do even in the winter we find lots of places to eat and drink and lots to do in the day... the rooms at this b&b where very very... More
