If you are an average family like we are, looking for a trip on a budget then the Roker is good. The gentleman that runs it is so nice,he could not do enough for us.I had also read some unhappy comments online, but i am sure if you talk to the owner about these issues then he would try to resolve them.We will... We stayed with our 5 year old son in this hotel for a night. The person at the reception was friendly and I think he is "all in all" in the hotel. He helped us in many ways including getting water and milk for our son. Initially we were taken to room 19, but we did't like it, as it... More

"With picturesque views of Fylde coast, this room also features an en suite bathroom, TV and tea/coffee making facilities." The above is how the rooms ( booked 2 double rooms). were described when we booked through booking.com. What we got in reality is...... First double room did not have sea view, it was a large wall facing aother hotel at... More

Spent one night here in a twin room, room was very small but was great for what we needed. The decor in the room was a little old, the curtains and wardrobe had seen better days but the beds were clean and comfy and we had what looked like brand new sheets and covers on as you could still see... Despite some bad reviews, we chose the Roker for its' location and price as we literally wanted a bed for the night after a busy day in Blackpool. We got exactly what we paid for - a basic but clean and comfortable room with a tv and tea making facilities and a very small en suite shower room with a... More

Where do you start with this kind of place? There was no working television, the shower was like a leaking tap, there where blood stains on everything. The quest next door where audible 100% of the time. I think I know these strangers pretty well. If you're staying here make it a one night thing and set your expectations to... More

Avoid this place like the plague, one of the worst hotels I have dealt with to date. Booked a room based on the price quoted online, only to find when checking my bank statement that they had over charged by an extra £11.00? I have emailed them 3 times and have not had the courtesy of a reply. Obviously customer... More
