We stayed over for a night in December to visit the Christmas Market. The room was lovely, cosy and very clean, with everything you could need for a stay over. The bed was very comfy and decor bright and cheerful. There is parking available off street in the courtyard and breakfast is served in an open dining area in full... More

We had a friendly welcome from our host Philippa. The Stables B & B location is excellent, situated in a very quite street,so you are sure of a good nights sleep, with only a 10 minute walk to the cathedral and castle with numerias restaurants nearby. We stayed here for 4 nights, the first 3 nights we had the double room, the room was... More

In an inauspicious thjough quiet and peaceful part of town, the Stables was a little hard for my satnav to find. This was solely due to the eccentric layout of Saxon Street. The Stables is located in the uphill part of Lincoln where the main tourist attractions are located, Be aware that Lincoln ancient and modern are divide ny a... More

Philippa and Andy made us both feel very welcome. The rooms are lovely and the facilities are great. The location is perfect, just around the corner from the Bailgate, 5 minutes walk to the Castle and Cathedral. If you are visiting Lincoln then we would recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed! More

The Stables is perfectly located close to the middle of Lincoln on a quiet side street, so it's less than 10 minutes' walk in, but a peaceful night's sleep. The building is lovely, a converted stables block separate to the main house, and the rooms are beautifully decorated, stylish and faultlessly clean. Philippa is warm and friendly, and the breakfast... More

We spent two nights at the Stables and were very comfortable. Warm welcome, good food and ideally placed for walking in to the centre of Lincoln. More

This was my second visit here this year. On both occasions it was excellent, and felt like home from home. .Housed in a separate block across the courtyard from the main house in a quiet street a very short walk from central Lincoln. The bed was comfortable , the bathroom on the ground floor small but very modern and clean.... More

We would like to add our praises for this conveniently located B&B in Lincoln. The very clean and nicely decorated bedrooms are in the renovated stables building across the courtyard from the main house, along with an open kitchen dining area where our hostess prepared an excellent breakfast for us each morning. In our case, this was a perfect arrangement... More

We spent two nights in July at the Stables B & B. We were made very welcome by Philippa and her husband. Good location with parking and easy walking distance of Lincoln city centre. Fantastic breakfast each morning cooked for us by Philippa with tasty local produce, home made bread and jam and fresh fruit from her garden. Excellent value... More

We were in Lincoln for a wedding, the reception was right beside the Castle. This charming B&B was about five minutes walk away - far enough for it to be quiet and close enough to walk everywhere we wanted to visit in the city centre, whilst parked for free in their walled and gated parking spaces. You can see the... More
