My fiancée and I stayed for 3 nights and cannot say enough about how lovely it was. Sue was away with work when we arrived but we were greeted by her friendly manager, Jenny. We had a very spacious double room with it's own very well equipped en suite (excellent shower!). There is a larger shared bathroom for other guests... More

I booked a room at Good Lane and liked it so much I stayed fo 4 months. Sue runs a "make yourself at home" policy and that is exactly what it feels like.Ably assisted by the lovely Jenny both could not do enough for you and I would highly recommend staying there whenever visiting Lincoln. The location is also excellent,... More

For a start, everything worked. I'm fed up of B&Bs where economising on showers etc means you're forever putting things back together or struggling with controls that never give the right setting. The 'help yourself' ethos means you're not endlessly tiptoe-ing around wondering what you can use and what you can't. The location was ideal and easily found, the decor... More

I have stayed in the B&B for 3 months, because i had a practical period on Monks Abbey Primary school. I had a lovely time and everything in this B&B was good, the food and Annie & Sue were 2 lovely persons! Nothing was too much for them. I'm from the Netherlands and this was my first long time away... More

I am staying at Good Lane regularly until my house sells and cannot recommend it highly enough. It really is like home from home. Annie and Sue are kind and helpful and take my dog out/look after her while I am at work. If I didn't ultimately want my own house, I would move in permanently. Nothing is too much... More

I've read the other reviews on here and they are nothing like what I experienced, so much so I felt I had to write one! I stayed at the Goodlane B&B for one night with my Dad who has stayed a few times before. It has a beautiful first impression with it's lovely garden, the rooms were lovely, with sinks... More

A friend and I stayed at Good lane B&B with our dogs in tow and we were very impressed from start to finish. The rooms were lovely; we were welcomed into the B&B and invited for a cuppa in the wonderful farmhouse kitchen. Sue was very friendly and cooked us an excellent breakfast despite our very early start on sunday... More

We have never stayed anywhere quite like Goodlane B & B and are still not quite sure what to make of it. The owner, Sue, with whom I booked a 2 night stay via e-mail, works away from home a lot of the time and this was the case whilst we were there. In her absence the place is "looked... More

We booked this B&B for one night and confirmed with the owner that we would be arriving at 6.30pm. When we arrived we were met by a very rude woman who told us that she had double booked our room out the night before and we should have left a telephone number so that she could have told us. There... More

Anyone travelling to Lincoln in the UK should check out Sue Addisson's Goodlane B&B. Lincoln is a beautiful city and Sue's B&B is ideally located at the top of the aptly named Steep Hill a short walk form the cathedral and castle. She was a wonderful hostess who went out of her way to ensure our comfort. I cannot recommend... More
