Stayed here recently in a Superior room during a midweek stay. The room had a classical look about it, with a large bed, a small television on the wall, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and board as well as some fantastic views of the top city landmarks! Possible downside...The rooms aren't double glazed and the hotel is in a... More

I have been staying in Liverpool at various places for seven years . I have never stayed anywhere as aweful as this . It was smelly , dirty and a real throw back . The web site says boutique hotel - there is nothing boutique about this place , unless boutique is short hand for an utter hovel . The... More

We arrived in Liverpool for the first time. Advertised as a 'boutique hotel' the pictures of the Sir Thomas were not at all like the actual place. The whole hotel was dated, shabby and smelly. On arrival in the room we had to call reception as the toilet hadn't been cleaned - why we stayed is beyond me! The curtains... More

The deal is a 3 course meal and a film all for £15 - good bargain! The food was mediocre, the soup starter was tepid, the main was chicken breast with wedges, a spoon of coleslaw and chilli mayo with a cheesecake for desert!! Chicken was cooked nice but the wedges were straight from a freezer. The cheesecake was ok,... More

I booked this hotel over the internet. I was charmed by the photos which made it appear to be a rather sumptuous, traditional hotel - rather like a gentleman's club - and the label "boutique". Unfortunately, only the tariff matched this description. The bedroom was small and very basic with a stained carpet and an overwhelming smell of new paint,... More

I stayed in this hotel 3-5 may 2013 with a group of girls. Great location but quite noisy outside with traffic & people. Woken up at 6/7 am by the bins being emptied & glass smashing as they were emptied. Rooms basic but clean, I wouldn't say it was a boutique hotel as they state. Breakfast continental with the option... More
