The Old Stables was beautiful, comfortable and quiet -- an absolute gem among B&Bs. Ample breakfast, included filter coffee, fresh milk and bread and juices. The room was clean and had all we needed, down to a shower with good water pressure and a safe for valuables. We could come and go as we pleased. Booking the room turned out... More

We stayed for only 1 night but was amazed at the room. It had everything you could think of down to a touch and a cork screw. The room was spotless and the bed so comfy. We were all geared up to to have breakfast in a cafe as there was no cooked breakfast...... no need what was on offer was... More

Stayed here for two nights as was seeing Lady Gaga at Twickenham Stadium. On the morning of arrival I was emailed with all the relevent information needed to access the room (as there are no owners on site) and had a phone number to call at any time of the day or night if necessary. The B and B is... More

We booked several rooms (including apartment studio) for our family and The Old Stables was ideal for our needs. Jenny, the manager and her staff were most accommodating to our needs ( family wedding and we had 'wedding preparation' tasks needed to be done in the rooms). I loved the location as felt you got away from the busy places... More

Our family recently travelled from Perth, Western Australia to attend wedding nearby. I had read reviews on this site and influenced me to book. As there are four adults in our family we were looking for self catering as hotel would be prohibitive in cost. Our expectations of London accommodation through experience is that rooms are usually very small, were... More

I booked this B&B for 3 nights in April 2012 as me and my wife had to attend a wedding in the area.....the 4 star description made me think that it is worth its money.....Unless you have business in the area (which is indeed a nice area) then it is not convinient at all for seeing London....it is quite far... Although space was quite tight for 3 of us in the studio, and the instructions to drive in to the car park weren't quite right, this is a great place to stay . Everything was clean, and quality. Quirkey, and generous. 2 mins walk to a main line railway station, and surrounded by pubs and eating places. Loved the roof... More

Our brother and family recommended this "bed and breakfast" as we wanted to stay in the St. Margaret's and Richmond area to be close to his home to make our visit easier. I use "bed and breakfast" lightly as it's more like renting an apartment that comes stocked with food for breakfast. For our needs, it was perfectly convenient as... More

I stayed at the Old Stables over a period of several weeks for business and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The rooms are clean, modern and well appointed. I really like the keypad access and the secure parking is both reasonable and very handy. The location is great, near to lots of nice restaurants, bars and pubs and just round the... More
