Got upgraded to executive double room for the price of a standard - that probably helps in liking the place ! Location is very good - slightly aside London's very core, this quiter, but with this very core very easilyh reachable with 5 buses lines (bus stop 1 mn walk from the hotel), 3 of which run 24h a day... I stayed with 5 friends for 3 nights in half term.As others have remarked the rooms are very clean and the bedding white and pristine.Room was small and although the bathroom was minute it had everything we needed.Staff charming and helpful.Lovely lounge and a cosy bar which was wonderful after a day exploring.Good location for underground and the open top... The location near Hyde Park near Paddington Station is hard to beat. The hotel is itself is kept very clean. The rooms are comfortable but quite small, but it is London, after all. The lobby has character. One thing to keep in mind in these older buildings: floorboards! The floor in the room creaked and squeaked with every step. This... More

The hotel is great value for money. Location: Excellent located steps away from a bus station which has buses from city back to the hotel also late at night. A bit further away (5 min. walk) a tube station too. Very neat and secure area and hotel looks out on charming church. Breakfast: in the basement but very nice room,... More

This hotel is a small jewel. Yes the rooms are a bit small but they are comfortable, the breakfast is included, warm breakfast costs extra but for a full english breakie 10 £ is ok as the food is good. The room is clean and the bath room ok. You have a bus stop very close by that brings you... More

This hotel sits behind the main Bayswater Road, within easy reach of Lancaster Gate Tube Station and Oxford Street, it is a Gem of a hotel. A good sized room, with a nice sized bathroom. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Well priced, this is my second stay and I can guarantee it wont be my last. Try... More

Overall the hotel was good, nice location in central London and helpful staff. The rooms are deceptive compared to the web site, so take care when you get your room allocation. I complained and got re-allocate a much better room, which met my expectations. The carpets are marked (as they are cream) and bring down the overall look & feel.... More

Just checked out after 3 nights at the Commodore Hotel. What a lovely place. Great location, wonderful friendly staff and efficient service. The only thing they could improve is the carpets. Our room carpet was quite stained, but I come from a family with 'shoes off at the door' rule. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you More

In a world of rip off corporate lego hotels the commodore is a breath of fresh air. Regency outer, briliantly located next to Hyde Park and old fashioned charm inside the hotel is leagues above other similarly priced establishments. Compramises are well managed - no bath only shower in cheaper rooms and buffet rather than full breakfast (still great). It... More
