rather hyped hotel, that does not deliever. For that rate you can stay at Mandarin or FS and I would expect MUCH more from a member of design hotels. Why? Well, first, room was ice cold on arrival, no greeting when entering hotel (all three people at reception were busy in computer work), breakfast was between all check-outs, restaurant reservation... We have now stayed in The Knightsbridge on 4 occasions and had a different room each time. They were all beautifully laid out with fabulous furnishings and they each have their own features..... The Staff are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble including running routes in the park, Hair bobbles for little girls who cant manage without pig tails and... More

Am staying here currently. Service is brusque at best. Really disappointing. I paid up for superior room but you must get a room on the top floors--very noisy from above. More

We stayed here for 4 nights and I was hoping for a boutique hotel that was a little more personal and characterful than you typical London hotel. I must admit that the common rooms were beautifully furnished and the rooms were just ok, or certainly our room. On reflection after staying here I would have preferred to have stayed in... More

The best thing about this hotel is its location, a stone throw from Harrods but in a quiet, leafy cul-de-sac. It feels like a town house of sorts, so no hustle and bustle typical of chain hotels. The decoration both in the common areas and in the rooms is classic contemporary, and very British, which adds to the town-house feeling... More

I love the Knightbridge Hotel! I have been staying here for almost 5 years. Located on a quiet street off of Brompton Road, it is just a few blocks from Harrods. The lobby is warm and inviting with 2 great sitting rooms and fireplaces. The rooms are lovely, sometimes on the small side, but always confortable. The bathrooms are clean... More

The hotel we stayed this time is much smaller hotel called Knightsbridge Hotel which is part of the Firmdale Hotel group. Our room is semi-basement in the alley which is sharing with Harrods rental apartments. Located less than 3 minute walk from Harrods, it is surprisingly quiet. Very nice neighborhood as you can see the cars on the blocks are... More

This is a beautiful hotel, the rooms are just lovely, beautifully decorated. Situated in a quite street (cul de sac) off Old Brompton Road this hotel is also perfectly located for shopping in the Knightsbridge & Sloane Street areas. If you have a car, parking is normally available outside the hotel but you have to feed the metre (or ask... More

Returned to the Knightsbridge for a business visit and it is just as good as the last time! The staff are a delight, the location is great and the beds have to be some of the most comfortable in the world! This Firmdale hotel just keeps on being excellent - it is perhaps not the kind of place some holiday-makers... More
