Very good hotel, bit different from the big bed factories, given the historic building. Front of house staff very attentive and provide excellent service. Good sized room and bathroom. Facilities offered by adjoining Jugged Hare also very good.

The smiles with which we were received never wore out till we left. The rooms were cosy and the staff very professional. They were always willing to provide some support and we had a great time. Food was good and the pub was excellent.will not fail to recommend the Montacalm .

Greeted on arrival by a friendly bowler-hatted porter, we were then upgraded from a standard room to a club room with beautiful modern bedroom and bathroom. I was staying at the hotel for business purposes and found the experience very good. The service was first class and the attension to detail is very good. In particular the service from Megha Singh the Front office Manager was excellent. The whole team are attentive and provide an excellent service.

Great Duplex Suite with superb facilities- highly reccomended! Very helpful staff and very good service offered. Would certainly use again and would certainly advise others to do so also. Breakfast was good and quality of food also high
