I recently stayed in Stamford street apartments in London for some work experience as it was so much cheaper than hotels, and to be honest it is just the same as a travel lodge but without the TV in your room. Staff couldn't be more helpful and the location is great. Would recommend.

Very nice for your buck.very closé to everything you won't believe it. And quiet my room overlooked a small typical London park with people sitting around eating lunch, in fact I did myself a few times. There is a small cafe under the big bridge just a block away that gives you a awsome breakfast for under 3 quid.

The room was small and basic. Upon arrival I was given a little toiletry bag with shower cap, shampoo, etc. The first morning of my stay I was awoken by the fire alarm and had to vacated the room during the drill. There was no toilet roll in the room when I arrived and had to go down to the... More

I stayed for just one night at Stamford Street. The room was adequately sized, and it was nice to have an ensuite bathroom with plenty of hot water. The downside was that the carpet was dirty and the towel stained with someone else's makeup. One curtain only reached half way down the window, so a light from outside shone in... More

I arrived in London on a low budget and not expecting to find much for my money. I cannot tell you how pleasently surprised I was at how great value for money Stamford Street Apartments are. I had my own en suite facilities and was able to use the fairly spacious kitchen, which also had it's own television. The linen... More

Stamford Arms is a college dormitory and nothing more. The space allocation is OK for a dormitory, but the beds are deplorable and need to be replaced. The springs come through the mattresses and cause a painful night of sleep, or lack thereof. The bathrooms are about the size of what you will find on a cruise ship (old cruise... More

Location was the asset to Stamford Street Apartments - you could easily get to any location in central London but...the rooms were very small and neat but furniture, carpet etc. seemed dirty. The elevator was out most of the month I was there in our building which was a pain when you were on a higher floor. Security at the... More

I stayed in King's College Apartments for 1 month. I liked the cozy feel it had and the privacy of having my own room and bathroom. It wasn't the newest building, but I would definately stay there again. The bathroom was tiny. I could take a shower and put my foot on the toilet seat to shave my legs. It... More

I stayed at the Stamford Street apartments for five and a half weeks and thought it was a great place. After staying in numerous hostels, I found the private room and wash to be just enough. Located perfectly, you have no problem walking to any local attraction or hailing a cab. For the price, these apartments are excellent for anyone... More

I stayed at the King's College Stamford Street apartments for 4 nights in july. Things are a bit worn, but good enough. Expect no luxury whatsoever. Bring your own towels, because you get one towel, and it is not replaced often (officially only once per 4 days, allthough mine was changed more often). Room was not big, but big enough.... More
