Firstly I must say that the guy that works the bar and the breakfast in this hotel has got to be one of the coolest people ever, he is genuinely interested in how the vacations of his guests are going and asks everyone where they're headed to and gives advice on how to get there and what to see. The... More

Just returned from spending the 7th week of my life at the Montana Hotel over the past few years. This little South Kemsington jewel continues to provide excellent service with a super staff, in an outstanding location. Kampas, Chris, Augie, Elvis, and Peter, and the others all go out of their way to meet every customer's needs, with a smile,... More

We were there just for short stay and a think 2-3 days are managable since we were out whole day. Hotel is well connected to centre, either by tube or just walking through park. Old building, old-fashioned, bit tired air but clean. Rooms and toilets are small. Rooms oriented to Glouc.road can be noisy. Internet so so, you need to... More

Excellent Location & Staff Travelled to London with my sister (May 3 – May 11 2013) Staff: If ever travelling to London again, this would definitely be one of the reasons I would chose the Montana Hotel! My favorites - Christopher at the Front Desk (a 28 year veteran) & Kampus (one of the Owners sons). Christopher was always cheerful... More

We stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting London and the Royal Albert Hall. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and made to feel at home instantly. All the staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The location is fab - 10-15 min walk to Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, museums, and Royal Albert Hall. Room was extremely clean.... More

Lovely website, very smart and impresive reception area........but after that.....no thanks! Booked through booking.com and once checked in proceeded to a room in basement, dark dingy damp smelling. Twin bedded rather than double bed which we had booked. Basement room when we had requested not ground floor we expected to be in a higher level room, not the basement. No... More

I stayed here overnight with three friends as we were going to a concert at the Royal Albert Hotel and it was great. The staff were welcoming and friendly and humorous and nothing was too much trouble for them. It was a good central location, the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park as eassily within walking distance. The rooms... More

Stayed here for two nights as we were booked for a show at the Royal Albert Hall which is a 15 minute walk away. Staff were friendly, buffet breakfast was good, fruit, cereals and toast, and they got me some gluten free bread! Our room was at the back of the hotel and it was very quiet. The room was... More

This hotel comes highly recommended. The staff are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are adequate and clean. It's the front of house( chris is excellent ) and the quirky funny Northumberland bar manager that were so kind to us. We will definitely return. Fab location. We had the best time. Thank you hotel Montana , you made... More
