Love the look and feel of this place. Excellent location in terms of solid neighborhood with pubs and shops (and not loads of tourists) and transit options (several tube stops nearby and St. Pancras rail station for Eurostar and other big travel). The breakfast is definitely worth it, though note that the price has risen from 4 pounds to 5... More

A London hotel for GBP 85? Yes, the George Hotel can! Efficient reception, clean rooms, perfect location for late arrivals/early leaves at St. Pancras train station, good breakfast, fairly close to Russel metro station. Older or sensitive people stay away - there is no sense coming here narrow mindedly. You'll get exactly what you pay for: haul your luggage up... More

My good friend and I, both seniors from Texas, USA, spent 4 nights at the George, Our twin room was very clean, comfy beds, and a view of the little park across the street. We had shared baths, but never a problem there. Lobby staff always friendly and efficient. Full English breakfasts were wonderful. Looking forward to spend time there... More

reception staff were friendly, room was clean & beds comfortable, against hotel policy were we able to stay one night on a Friday this wasn't advised till we had confirmation of booking so were very grateful, as we were visiting a relative in the University College Hospital. Did notice a noise through out our stay, I thought it was the... More

I recently spent 3 nights at the George Hotel. I booked this hotel for 2 reasons: 1) It is centrally located between St. Pancras Station (Eurostar arrival/departure) and Euston Station (train to Warner Brothers Harry Potter Tour) and 2) The first half-dozen hotels I contacted didn't have a twin room available. In a nutshell, I'd have a hard time recommending... More

Good value for a location in Central London. Near to the Kings Cross, St. Pancras, and Euston stations, as well as the Russel Square station on the Underground. Also near The British Library, the British Museum, and other attractions. The accommodations are not stellar, but they are good. The breakfast is good. The room we had (room 10) was good.... More

I was unable to sleep a wink in this Hotel. The mattress and pillows were like billets. A park bench would have been more comfortable and cheaper. This place is to be avoided at all costs despite the apparently attractive prices and central location. After all most people want to be able to sleep in their hotel bed. This one... More

I've been staying at this B&B since the late nineties but this is the last time. My single bed was comfortable and the room is cosy but the prices keep going up while they make no improvements. Shared showers and bathrooms need to be uniformly renovated. I tried three showers before I found one that worked satisfactorily. There is little... More

I enjoyed a clean room with a comfortable double bed and private shower (room 10), as well as a full English breakfast available each morning. The staff was very helpful about inquiries I made before and during my stay in London. The location of the George Hotel is excellent—within easy walking distance of Russell Square Station and the Piccadilly Line,... More

Stayed one night in this comfortable hotel in a triple room(Room 4). The room was nicely furnished with comfortable beds and an adequate en-suite. We opted to have breakfast and for £4 each was excellent value for money (this is London after all). I'm sure there are more luxurious hotels but as this was a short stay we found it... More
