We often stay here as our Son lives in that area. We find it to be a bit tired & worn but have never paid a lot for a room for the weekend. We go out by 9am and return late so its just a base for us. It is a 10 min walk to the railway station which takes you... More

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights during a training program at The National Archives. Fortunately, the hotel was paid for by the program, so I wasn't out any money for staying here. If I'd paid for this hotel, I would have been very upset. It's a Travelodge, so there's only so much you can expect to begin with, but... More

We have stayed severl times as convenient with parking. Just a walk up the road to the train and can get day ticket to London. This time staff very helpful, and had room with nice view of the Thames but was tired needing refurbishment and shower worked but bits missing on controls. We booked in there sale so couldn't complain at... More

Saggy old mattress, single pillow the thickness of a sanitary towel, loud traffic noise through double glazing. Only 2 tea bags for 24 hour stay for 2. Machine coffee at rip off breakfast tasted gross; no mustard, muesli, or fresh fruit. Tired old place with warning signs about car break ins, long gloomy walk to overground rail.

One of the more horrible Travelodge's- I've had to stay in a few in my time. Room needed doing up, shower flooded the whole floor, staff on reception were useless and never there. The guy who ran the 'restaurant' in the evening was rude and again pretty much useless. I know times are tight but try and stay somewhere else... More

The hotel is fine for the money you pay,it is clean with friendly helpful staff, yes it could do with a little tlc but if you want the Ritz, claridges or Brown's hotel then you pay some £400 more, for what you pay it is fine. We stayed for 3 nights with no issues, car park underneath is good value at £5... More

We stayed at this hotel a few months ago, but the hassle we got into goes on. The hotel is, as you'd expect, basic, clean and does the job. It's in a good location. We drove there and, as required, bought a parking ticket and displayed it. A while later we got a letter and photos from Travelodge's sub-contracted parking... More

Stayed here a few times over the years and it's fine. Basic and ok if you're just looking for a room without anything fancy. Last time i stayed (a couple of weeks ago) i noticed the room and corridors were getting a bit shabby, ie - the corridors need painted, the lift smelled very mouldy and the bathroom in my... More

The hotel is nothing special. If, like me, you need somewhere to recover from a late night, then it fits the bill. There is a Premier Inn 5 mins away, if you want more comfort. Breakfast can be had at McDonalds, short walk away, or there is the costly hotel option. My main problem was the car parking, which many... More

You've all heard about Travelodge or stayed in one, you know it's not the Ritz. It's cheap, it's basic and they don't spend money making it anything but. This one has a bar, and a pitcher of mojito at £12 was ok. The rooms are bog standard. The mattress is bouncy and makes you roll together. The lights are too... More
