I, actually, kind of enjoyed the stay here, although there is a lot more to desire. But first the pros: the location is super convenient - Hyde Park is right there, and the London Paddington rail station is just few minutes away. The staff was all friendly and helpful. There was some problem with the sink in our room and... More

Is in a prime location but the hotel itself is rubbish. The rooms are small and difficult to move around. The toilet is puny and for a normal sized male you need to open the door in order to stand up and sit down. The cleanliness of the room is questionable. The toilet seat had a hair stuck to it... Firstly - rooms are cheap, we booked ahead and paid about £60 per night for a double room. On arrival, we were put in a twin room, even though a double had be booked. We went back to reception and asked to be moved to a double but they could not accommodate this request. The room was tired looking, TV... More

Took 1hr to check in. Not the hotels fault, booking agents. Travel Republic, avoid at all costs. Ended up having to pay again and claim back money from agent. £100 for family room, not bad as it should have been £200. Got family room but the decor and layout were bad. No remote for TV. Breakfast was toast with ham... More

Perfect location, but unpleasant surprises and little flexibility made the stay one we would have wanted to avoid. Beware that they only have 8 (out of 100) double beds and that even though you believe you are booking a double, it is "based on availability", i.e. you will most likely end up with twin beds. Also, the bed cover (fitted)... More

The hotel has a nice location, close to Paddington station and it is not expensive. and...well..that is all the positive that can be said about it. Normally I try to be positive but here , unfortunately, this is impossible. Many rooms cannot be reached by elevator. We had to climb up and down a lot of stairs. The room was... More

We stayed 5 nights in this hotel. The rooms are perfect value. They were very homely, although quite small. Perfect location! Just a short walk to Paddington Station and to the main sights of London. Buses also stop frequently down the road from this hotel. Breakfast wasn't great - cold toast, minimal choice of cereal, choice of 3 yoghurts. Overall... More

There is one plus to this hotel. Location. It's 5 minutes walk from Paddington Station, located on a very charming street. Apart from the location, I was disappointed due to the following:- 1. Very low value for money. We paid GBP200 per room per night. Other hotels were fully booked so we had no choice. For GBP200, I got the... More

We stayed 7 nights in this hotel and everything was OK . We had pre-booked a double room and a triple room three months before, but we weren't satisfied with the rooms they gave us when we arrived. The guy at the desk was very helpful and gave us other rooms. The beds were very comfortable, the linen and the towels... More

We had pre-booked this hotel through our travel agent six weeks prior to our arrival for a double room. On arrival we were given a twin room that was that small we couldn't put our suitcases on the floor! we had to put them in a cupboard. When we told reception that we asked for a double they told us... More
