I am glad I found this guest house through your reviews. It seemed that most hotels were overpriced and we found the guest house with nice rooms, breakfast included, and nice area!!! We had a very nice stay and would definetly recommend to others. Mr. Martel was very nice and helpful!

The room was nice and the beds comfortable, Phil and the staff were friendly and helpful, the neighbourhood was quiet and it was very close to shops and restaurants as well as to the main bus station and tube. We found our stay at Martel Guest house very comfortable and homely; the house is very well kept and everything looks lovely and is clean. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.. We would certainly choose to stay here again and are actually planning our next weekend away around staying at the Martel guest house

stayed for 5 nights. Phil and Neli are the best. Rooms very comfortable, plenty of room to move about and exceptionally clean breakfast great, area great, will stay again on next trip. We stayed in room 1 which is great for smokers, right next to front door so you dont have far to go to smoke.
