This was the third time we stayed at this small hotel, and we weren't disappointed this time either. London is full of cheap and bad small hotels. A double room at the Avoca house costs 75 £ , but it does not belong to this group. You'll get a rather large, clean and bright ensuite room with flat screen TV,... More

If you're looking for a decent, reasonably-priced B&B in central(ish) London you could do a lot worse. Sure it's basic and the rooms are a little dated - but it is clean and if you're looking for an en suite option and a room of your own I think this place is great value for £55 a night. The staff... Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during new year celebrations 2013. Room 302 was on the ground floor, near entrance. Room huge however being 6' tall had to duck down to go to the bathroom as the door is very low! Although we were not provided with a bath matt - when we approached the manager - he very... More

I booked this hotel after reading some previous reviews on various websites and made my booking about six months in advance. On previous trips to London, I had stayed in hostels but this time around wanted to be in a room on my own with my own bathroom. I am not a luxury traveller and generally see a hotel as... More

Everything goes fine just except the water pressure is very low and sometimes even not enough hot water for a shower Besides, as they dont hv air con, I dun think u can stay there during hot summer. To conclude, this is a good choice if u r staying there during moderate season

Large room, absolutely clean, helpful and friendly stuff, simple but plentiful breakfast, perfect location (quiet area, just a 5-minute walk from the Swiss Cottage underground station). Nothing at all to complain about!

If you're traveling on a budget, then I recommend this B&B. It's in a safe and lovely neighborhood. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. They gave me excellent sight-seeing tips! This is a modest, clean & cozy place to stay.

Stayed here in late August after needing to find a hotel we could actually sleep in! Found this hotel at short notice and rang to book with minimum of fuss. With just the need for a decent bed and a hot shower, wasn't expecting luxury but was pleasantly surprised. The location is quite good, a nice short walk to Swiss... More

I chose this property for the location and cost and although the rooms were clean the property is very shabby, worn and depressing. I was expecting a budget property but the paint was peeling off the walls and the carpets were torn and it doesn't take much to put a coat of paint on to freshen things up and repair... More
