If you need a night's accommodation at bargain rate in London then this is a good choice. Admittedly it is student accommodation and a little spartan with a shared bathroom but was very comfortable and very good breakfast included 6 items off the menu and unlimited toast, tea and orange juice. Bus stops are right inside to get down to... More

This place has a great (safe) location in London and is, relative to other places, pretty affordable. However, only visit this place if you're desperate to revisit your student hall experiences, because that's what you will get. Noisy corridors, dirty toilets, showers that cannot be locked and with doors that can be peeped over, unclear stains in the carpet, no... More

Staff at front of house seemed confused and unhappy to have guests asking too many questions. Room appeared shabby at best and not sure how clean the carpet was as it looked badly stained. Bed was very uncomfortable and other guests could be heard until very late. Breakfast was ok and the location was fine for me.

The rooms are very spartan so if you plan on spending much time in your room whilst visiting London, this might not be the place for you. But if you're looking for a well-priced place in an excellent location. I have to say that I was a student at LSE several years ago so I enjoyed it with a sense... More

This is great value accommodation for London, and a solid two star establishment. Would stay again. I will cover some of the areas that need improvement, and some of the design faults that are not easily improved. The receptionist upon arrival was not engaging as she was too busy with personal phone calls, hence did not feel welcome at all.... More

I very much like staying there. The location is perfect, close to the East End as well as Holborn. The breakfast is first class, the rooms clean and usually quiet. Bathrooms are shared, but I have not had a cue yet.

Stayed here on six separate one night occasions over the summer of 2012; ideal for business travellers wanting somewhere very inexpensive (if booked well in advance); very clean bedrooms ; directly on main bus routes into city centre (38); close to Angel High St for shops & restaurants; only down side is shared bathrooms and showers - but most very... If you're after somewhere to stay for the night and a breakfast in the morning this is for you. Nothing fancy but if you want that you'll pay double! Decent location within walking distance of Angel tube or there's buses from right outside. It's only a 15 - 20 min walk from the City & St Pauls.

We stayed at Rosebery Hall in early September 2012. We didn't know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised! We rented a twin share with ensuite. The room was big, the bathroom sufficient, and everything was clean. The breakfast provided daily was good. You get a choice of 6 items, and if you take a yogurt and fruit, as two... More

This is very modestly priced, basic accommodation. If you're simply looking for a bed and breakfast for a flying visit and/or don't have the £150+ for a room at a big-name hotel, this will do the job. The rooms are very basic, some en-suite but most with shared facilities. The single room I was in was of a good size,... More
