I have just booked for a second stay here. It's location - 3 minutes walk to South Kensington tube, on a relatively quiet road between Cromwell Road and Harrington Gardens, with taxis easily flagged down on either, the Natural History Museum etc within 100 yards, and plenty of places to eat nearby - is perfect for me. It's interior won't... More

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was excellent for us as we wanted to visit the Science Museum, The Natural History Museum and the A&A. The staff were friendly and efficient and the room was clean. On the negative side the room was small and far too hot. As a result we slept with the window open... More

I fully endorse the experience expressed by Pancakes 25. The breakfast staff were hardly to be seen, and did not check on guests arriving. On the two mornings I was there I had to call attention to my requirement for Tea & Toast by seeking out the waiter in the kitchen. A repeat order for extra toast was overlooked...'I asked... More

have now stayed here 3 or 4 times. 1st time, staff good, room good, good value for money as there was a deal on laterooms around £80. The last time I stayed - 1st Nov - had to pay £120 per room per night, and I have to say this time felt that the room was not worth that amount.... More

Booked through Late Rooms for 80 pounds which is great value. Very quiet but convenient location. Decoration slightly dated perhaps but immaculately clean and charming staff. Wold definitely stay there again at that price More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights recently. We were very impressed by the enthusiastic and helpful service. The room was small but comfortable and all we needed as we were out most of the days. The bathroom was a little tired and there was a minor problem with the televion. The public areas were more than adequate... More

As with any city hotel, the location is good or bad depending on what you want to do. But assuming you want to be in west-central London, the location is fine, on a surprisingly quiet side street close to South Kensington station, with its myriad restaurants (and boulangeries, patissiers, fromageries, etc – you’re in the heart of London’s little France,... Booked the hotel on Roomex.com and got much better price than on the hotel website. The location is great - right beside the national history museum and south kensington tube station. Bus service in the area is excellent also. Room was small but adequate - very warm. The housekeepers were very friendly as were the reception staff. My only complaint... More

The public areas of the hotel are classy. The service was excellent. The bedroom I was in was small and functional but as I was travelling alone on business it was ideal for my needs and is situated close to South Kensington tube station. Good price compared to similar standard hotels. More

As an Indian traveller, you enter the world of old English grace, and return to the memory of Bertie Wooster and the attentiveness of Jeeves. Fantastic deal on rates. Lovely lobby decorated tastefully with floral drapes, patterned chairs, a fireplace. Great location, just a short walk from the museums that matter-Victoria & Albert, Natural History Museum. The shopping is more... More
