Just had a great meal at the White Lion. Four off us went on steak night, it was excellent food and quick service. The beer was great. New beers from copper dragon. Went for a meal, at the white lion, wonderfull service and food. Finally a pub that brings back traditional Pub Grub. Wonderfull owners, v. Friendly and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I will be returning very soon !!!!

The whole experience was first-class. Great location, wonderful food, warm comfy bedroom, friendly staff and locals - and, of course, Taylor the retriever. The pub/hotel is in a perfect position for exploring Bronte country and the awesome Yorkshire Dales. Can't wait to visit again! P.S. Caters for vegetarians.

Came for New Year's Eve and such a wonderful atmosphere and they laid on free "sop supper" which comprised of the tastiet gravy soaked bap bread beef sandwich.
