Staff were so helpful, the rooms were lovely and the food was really good. We were doing the 3 peaks and as we were setting off too early for breakfast they prepared a lovely lunch bag for us that we picked up out of the fridge the next morning. We would stay again!

We had just visited the sister hotel in nearby Malham and found them both very comfortable and welcoming for our dog. The friendly attentive staff and food and drinks were excellent. I would strongly recomend it to anybody. If you do visit make sure that yopu travel on the Settle to Carlisle railway; unmissable countryside.

I stayed 2 nights with my dog, Dylan, meeting some friends for a few days walking - including the Three Peaks! All the staff were effortlessly attentive and we all felt very welcomed. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed and the food great quality for a pub/Inn. Good value for money and Dylan would certainly love to come again!

Stayed at the Lion for 2 nights as we wanted a location near the railway. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, everything was great - the rooms, food, service. Wish there was a place like this near our home town.
