Situated a 5 minute walk from the sea and easy 10-15 minure walk into the centre of town Glendale is a lovely terrace B&B. Upon arrival we were kindly upgraded to a deluxe room on the top floor which was a very good size, had a good size bathroom also and a lovely view of the abbey over the roof... More

Just got back from from a two night stay at the Glendale & if we ever return we will look no further than this great B&B.I will certainly highly reccomend the Glendale to anyone wishing to stay In Whitby.

Stayed at the Glendale for two nights, was a lovely room with a nice view and was very clean. The staff were great and were helpful when talking about things to do in the area and the breakfast was excellent. It is in a great location as we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do.

I stayed at the Glendale at the end of October. Lovely clean room. Comfy bed and pillows. Brilliant breakfast. A credit to the owners. Ideal location for shops or a walk along sea front. I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Looking forward to booking again.

Visiting Whitby for two days we found The Glendale as we parked in the street outside. Carol came to the door and happly showed my wife a room. The cost was inline with our budget. Spent one night in October. Received a warm welcome from Mick, the room was ready early and we were able to put our bags in at only 11am. Room very nice and clean,new, very comfy bed, ensuite excellent, we even had a view of the abbey. Chose our breakfast the night before and what time we would like to eat.... More
