Spent a night with my boyfriend at this hotel in York, and loved it! The location is central, close to the minister, & the rooms are cozy..very english :) There's a bar & restaurant downstairs as well, with excellent food.

We stopped in here after a recommendation by a local, it was well worth it, the food was scrumptious. We had two toddlers with us, they were great with them, even had a high chair. Highly recommended, it was the best food we had travelling around the country. thank you

Stayed here in the superior suite for our 1 year Wedding anniversary. Had a lovely time, breakfast was lovely and the staff seemed very nice. The beer garden looks great, bet it'd be lovely in Summer!

Beautiful historic building with a style sympathetic to the era. We were in room 9 at the very top!
