For Americans, I would describe Premier Inn hotels as comparable to a good Comfort Inn or La Quinta Inn minus the refridgerator and microwave that are increasingly the norm in US chain motels. Perfectly situated hotel for the sights of York. All are well within walking distance. Staff couldnt do enough to help, extra coffee/tea in room.. Very quiet room with choice of comfort pillows. Excellent clean, quiet hotel in central York. Easy walking distance from station and all attractions. Clean comfortable quiet rooms with all spectres amenities. Costa coffee available in lounge bar vey cosy area. Would stay again.

Excellent from beginning to end. Lovely breakfast. Staff top notch. Excellent value, very clean, very friendly and excellent location. Very pleased with the restaurant and breakfast is excellent value for money. Public car park close by were your car can be locked away over night, car park fee discounted by Premier Inn.

We took two rooms in the hotel on a Saturday night at £115 each. There were 3 of us in each room and so I did not think that was bad value for money in York.
