Perfect place to stay in York. Comfortable, very clean, great breakfast, extremely friendly. With only a 10 minute walk from the City centre it was the perfect place. Carol was very helpful and recommended places to visit.

My wife and I came across Mowbray House by chance, what a good find. A warm welcome, our room was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable, an excellent cooked breakfast, free parking and a less than 10 minute walk to the centre of York, what more would one want!

We were lucky enough to be fitted in at Mowbray House. It was a lovely room, great attention to detail, the perfect place to chill between sight seeing. A lovely breakfast served in the morning! Spotlessly clean. I would stay again without hesitation!
