coach trip with silver star,friday to sunday christmas shopin,good value. the queens hotel was wellsituated for York center,the staff where very nice & helpfull.We where on a BB& evening meal package ,the carvery on the saturday night was to die for. rooms were clean .everything walking distance lovely spot on the rivers edge

The staff were very welcoming and gave us a map of the city... the room overlooked the river, it was lovely. Hotel very clean and it had plenty of room. Breakfast was nice. Good value for money. We would go back.

Good location within walking distance of York Minster, the Shambles, Railway museum and the town centre. Clean, good size, quiet riverside rooms with a shower over the bath. Could not fault hotel, staff or breakfast. My cousin and I had two brilliant days in York. The only complaint we had was that we could not visit Richard 111 museum. Tried 3 times to get in... No one at home even though lights were on and telephone engaged! All other places were good also the ghost walk. Would recommend... More
