Went to Ashbourne house for one night at the end of January with friends. Nice place, clean & tidy with a lovely breakfast. The walk to the town was about 20 mins along the river. Taxi from the station was about £6, but we enjoyed the walk. More

In my opinion this guest house is a good 35 minute walk from the town centre. There are no buses after 8 and so is a problem if you are hungry as no take-aways nearby.
