Spent one night here. Staff could not have been more helpful, providing plates and cutlery so we could eat a takeaway in the bar / lounge. Hotel is clean and provides everything you will need for a short stay including an iron. It is close to the city centre, within walking distance, where you can visit the free museum with the fantastic shoe exhibition. Breakfast is good and plentiful. Very pleasant and friendly staff.

stayed here for 4 nights whilst working in the area, found the hotel and the staff pleasant and friendly. Would highly recommend breakfast. Mary was outstanding, its like staying with your mother!!! Rooms are clean and tidy, very spacious shower. Cannot fault the staff on their hospitality and friendliness! Will be coming back :)

Stayed with a group of mates on a reunion. We could not have been more warmly welcomed or looked after. It was really good value and ideally located for us to paint the town black and gold. Breakfast was more than adequate and all of our group were very pleasantly surprised at the value and service we received here.
