The second time we have stayed. Previous reviews a little unfair. Close to excellent Studley Park Golf Club. Food was very pleasant. Room a little basic, but clean and warm. And at £79 ...... The food was most acceptable for around £30 inc wine.

Really a restaurant with accommodation. Rooms are out the back, beside the car park, in a purpose-built block. Room was OK but needed some simple maintenance; peeling paint, etc. Adequately clean, bed well used and small, towels threadbare, plumbing noisy but worked well enough. Somewhat musty, clearly not used much. Reminiscent of holiday camp chalets; an aura of good intentions...

Stayed 2 nights. Dirty unwashed cups on arrival at room. Room unclean. Overcharged on drinks and overcharged on accommodation at check-out. Manager very rude and staff have a language barrier. Would not recommend.
