Just returned from staying at Lakeside Guesthouse; good situation - we were able to park our car at the house and walk into Oxford (both in our 70s) Our room was very comfortable and clean and we really appreciated the central heating and the lovely hot shower. I visited Oxford along with some friends for the weekend. The owner & staff are welcoming and accomodationg, the rooms/ decor & facilities are excellent and exceeded my expectations for a guest house. Breakfast lovely & very good quality & service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lakeside or to stay here again

Travelled with my parents and husband and we all found the rooms to be well decorated and very clean. The breakfast was very nice and enough choice was offered. Short walk to the city centre and the canals. Shame they do not offer an evening meal option! We will use Lakeside again.
