We've stayed here on many occasions, the last time being for our son's Graduation from Sheffield Hallam University in November 2011. The hotel is immaculate and spacious, with a beautiful view of the peace garden and fountain from a majority of the rooms. Every room we have stayed in has been enormous, with floor to ceiling windows letting in so... More

It's always difficult for a hotel to recover from a really poor check-in experience. Bit of a queue to check-in on a Thursday at 4pm which was unexpected. Then they had got the room rate wrong and as it was pre-paid, had already taken £20 more than they should have. The recemption staff were unable to resolve this and I... More

The hotel looks good and it is good, in that the public areas are stylish and pleasant and the room that we had was large, well fitted out and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only quibble with the room was a nasty smell from the drains. Our major complaints were the cost of overnight parking, which was a bit... More

Room was OK, comfortable and clean if a little on the tired side. Service polite but slow, and inefficient (Some of the slowest bar tending I have seen in some time). Breakfast service was particularly bad although the food was acceptable. Stood in queue to be seated for ages before we all gave up, walked in and found a seat... More

I arrived late to this hotel, but the parking was easy and the hotel is right in the middle of Sheffield. The Hotel is excellent. The quality stunning and staff service delightful. The gym is also a gym.... its great for a workout and doesn't compromise on being a hotel gym. More

We booked a Spabreak for one evening to include Dinner, bed and breakfast and one 30 minute treatement. All for £87. The hotel is modern in design, friendly greeting at reception, good sized rooms/bathrooms and great food. We couldnt fault the hotel at all. Evening meal, Afternoon tea (extra) and Breakfast were delicious. The room overlooked the Winter Garden but... More

As other readers have said, ideal location for Sheffield city centre, the rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The only complaint is the costs of the extras. Car parking was 20 pound a day extra, you can park directly outside reception if you pass through the security barrier, then they will provide the valet parking service which is a bit... More
