A big welcome from the landlady. The location is good being near enough the old town to leave your car in the car park and toddle along the Abbey Forgate for your evening meal and bevy. This is what I describe as an extended B&B, so don't expect hotel accomodation. Room saw reasonably sized with Tea/ Coffee, TV & En Suite. Perhaps a little dated but clean & comfy. Breakfast was excellent. It's about a 15 minute walk into town centre. Overall no gripes.

A weekend trip to Shrewsbury led us to book 2 nights at Abbey Court, a professional welcome, a smallish but adequately furnished room with a good en-suite. The television (Olympics were on) system was quite old fashioned but working. Good Bacon & Eggs Breakfast. The car park was a bit uneven but adequate for the number of rooms.
