Julia and Chirs are wonderful people, they made us... more

We stayed at the Friary Dene for one night with our two young children. This guest house is beautiful, immaculately clean and spacious. We were made to feel very welcome. The family room is lovely and big, ensuite shower and bathroom were both immaculate. Lovely touches like yummy biscuits in the room, soft towels, dressing gowns etc. Breakfast was superb,... more

A group of 10 of us, family and friends with children as well came to celebrate New Years Eve and a family birthday. From the moment we made the booking and arrived, the service and hospitality was excellent. Not forgetting the food which was first class. The house is beautifully decorated and a real home away from home - relaxing... more

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful guest house, really made welcome by Chris and Julia, lovely people, whole place was spotless, breakfast was to die for, rooms and guest areas beautifully decorated. If dining out we would recommend The Stag Inn just few miles up the road. Going into bath use the park and ride, traffic and parking... more

After deciding on a last minute family trip to Longleat we stumbled across Friary Dene when looking for some where to stay and what a fantastic find! We were made to feel really welcome, the room was spotless, modern and comfortable and breakfast was great. Only wish we could have stayed for longer but will definitely be back next year. more

My girlfriend and I stayed with Chris and Jules a few weekends ago. There are a few things to note.... A fantastic setting on the outskirts of Bath and set in lovely grounds, Contemporary, clean and very comfortable accomodation, Fantastic breakfasts, Chris used to chef with Rick Stein...Bonus!! However, it's the hospitality that really sets Friary Dene apart, Chris and... more
