Firstly, a great location. Room was very nice although it did smell of paint. Overall, the hotel is a little tired but a very reasonable price so difficult to complain. “Poor service and deceptive staff”

I Stayed here as part a wedding booking, the booking was originally for a single occupancy, however on two separate occasions different people rang and amended the booking to a double, seeking clarification that it had been done. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights whilst attending a private event in the village. We enjoyed our stay here . “Nice from far but far from nice”

Rooms were very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was similar to bad airline food. It was shocking and so was the service. I can't believe we paid for it! I agree with one of the previous reviews this is a glorious wedding venue.

“Big gaps at the bottom of each hotel room door”

Went here with my girlfriend for valentines.Nice hotel, very comfy and clean, our only problem was the gap under our door was about 2 inches high and this meant we could hear every movement in the corridor and were aware they could probably here us!

“Nice quite place to stay”

The hotel is set in a quite area with lovely gardens. We had four nights stay,the room was small on the front of the hotel,but we were out all day so it ok. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals in the restaurant were good value. A good place to stay away from busy Bath.
