Stayed here one night on 26 Jan 2012. Found it via Late rooms. Staff were welcoming if a little overly fussy/formal. Room was ok, clean but a bit tight as it had to accommodate a gigantic bed. Complimentary shampoo/shower wash a nice touch (Molton Brown). Due to breakfast not being served until 8 AM (a little late, in my opinion)... More

Oldfields lives up to its reviews. It is a nice touch that you are greeted with refreshments and offered help in finding your way around Bath and with restaurant recommendations. This is rare enough in any hotel but in a B & B it is a particularly nice touch. Breakfast was very good. Yes, its true - the self-serve element... More

A very warm welcome helped us to settle in very quickly. Our 4 poster was very comfortable and the en suite excellent. The only down side was the very loud business meeting held at the table next to us as we enjoyed a great breakfast. More

Very friendly and welcoming, tea in the living room on arrival before being shown to our rooms. Clean spacious and attractive bedroom. Nice breakfasts, Cava for Buck's fizz a lovely touch! Our 3 night stay was good value. 10 minutes walk from city. Pub food recommendations were followed up and were very good. More

We had a lovely weekend in that hotel. The place is really charming, with clean bedrooms, comfortable beds, a modern and very nice little bathroom with good shower, also a nice set to make tee or hot chocolate (very appreciable when you come back from a long day sightseeing!). The sitting room of the hotel feels comfy, you can stay... More

Oldfields is a small comfortable hotel just 10 minutes walk from the centre of bath. Everything was spotlessly clean, with large modern bedrooms and a cosy welcoming lounge. Breakfast was very good and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. More

My partner & I travelled to Bath in between Christmas & New Year - having only decided about a month beforehand. We googled Guesthouses in the area and stumbled across Oldfields. We arrived at a beautiful, original "bath stone" residence, with parking - went in and were met by a lovely young lady who signed us in and sat with... More

We stayed for a 3 nights in December 2011. We were greeted with hot mulled wine and mince pies. The room was lovely with Molten Brown products in the bathroom. The car park is slightly difficult to manouver into and you need to be alert for the entrance from the main road. We left the car parked and walked into... More

Oldfields House is within a reasonable distance from town center and is good in most aspects. Room was clean and the service was really good. More

Stayed in the small single room. Had Molton brown products and an excellent power shower. Breakfast was perfect. The Sausages and bacon excellent quality and likely local sourced. shame only has to be there one night. 5 pound taxi from the station. Has ample parking if you are driving. More
