I'd agree with all of the previous reviews. We arrived footsore after a long exhausting walk from Weston-super-Mare to be greater as one of the family. rarely has coffee and a cake been more welcome. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished. The shower separate but bliss. An excellent breakfast too. Not sure how it could be improved really!

If any place deserves to prosper it's the Bramblewood. We were greeted by Amanda and Colin like old friends, tea and homemade cake on arrival, large, comfortable spotless room with an extremely comfortable bed, very modern bathroom with proper shower and a superb breakfast before we left; freshly cooked of course but with freshly baked bread, fresh fruit, squeezed orange... I stayed with my friend for 4 nights over Easter and felt so welcome. From Amanda and Colin's advice with regards to planning our walks to the amazing breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless, the location peaceful and I will be booking again when I travel to the south west.

When we arrived we were immediately and warmly welcomed into Amanda and Colin's home. Amanda brought us into her kitchen and offered us cake and tea and showed interest in getting to know us and our vacation experience so far. Very friendly and we felt right at home. The room we stayed in was very clean, spacious and beautiful. The... More

Amanda and Colin were amazing - nothing is too much trouble, like others have said it's like you have known them for years! The room was clean and beautifuly finished and the bathrooms were lovely. my husband and i stayed here for one night. firstly i would like to say it was a very clean freindly place to stay. i agree with some other comments. in that the noise from colin and amandas son arriving early hours was distracting. we had the room without ensuite and would not stay in that room again. as it... We stayed here in August whilst visiting Cheddar Gourge. First of all this is different to the typical B&B you will find. When I first saw the pictures of it I thought "that looks like someones home". I then wondered if maybe it was a whole house which someone rented out. But no, it is actually someones home - The... What a wonderfully different place, made to feel part of the family and nothing was to much trouble, great hosts with the right personalities for the job (which is rare in my experience) Came home feeling very relaxed. Also cracking full english.
