We stayed using Tesco points for the deal and found the hotel better than expected! The room was clean and had all necessary facilities. The reception staff were helpful as were the restaurant staff. We 'ate in' on the Friday evening using their £35 for two for three courses offer and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food.... More

My wife and I stayed one night at the Best Western at Eturia Park located next to Water World. We had room 415 located on the top 4th floor which is the executive floor. The room itself was spotless and there was a nice bottle of white wine chilling on ice for us, which I thought was a nice touch.... More

We stayed 2 nights here in order to attend a football match at Port Vale's ground nearby. We arrived on the Friday night. Check-in was swift and pleasant. Although the hotel was far from full, we found ourselves in a room almost above a function room with an extremely loud disco. I fell asleep okay, but my wife had a... More

I stayed at this hotel recently as we were attending a wedding at the same hotel. For the money (£70 inc breakfast) it is quite good. Breakfast not fantastic, the scrambled eggs were a bit watery etc. One big problem was that the fire alarm went off at 2.30 am and was on and off for the next 30 min.... More

Dear Oliver Thanks for the review, sorry you had a few issues with us. I've asked my head chef to review our breakfast offer in particular the watery scrambled eggs. With regard to the fire alarm we experienced a fault with one of our sensors located in the reception area, the alarms sounded and because we knew from checking the... More

Stayed on New Year's Eve for the masquerade ball held in the hotel, and had a wonderful time. The room was lovely (very comfy bed), the staff very helpful, and the event itself ran like clockwork. Brunch available until 12.30 (because it was New Year's Day I think) was very thoughtful, and (I have to say) delicious! Great variety, and... More

Hotel is really lovely, staff were extremely polite and helpful. The room was a bit dated but not a lot of time spent in it so it didn't matter. Quiet and good location. Great stay! More

I stay here quite regularly and am quite impressed with the place. The service staff at the reception are extremely pleasant and friendly and very good ambassadors for the hotel. Everything else is as your expect for a good hotel. Would definitely recommend More

I hadnt realised that the Moat House in Stoke was part of the Best Western chain when I booked it - had I have known that I would have avoided based on previous experiences of other Best Westerns however I have to say when I stayed here last week and again last night I was pleasantly surprised. Its a huge... More

The Christmas Party night in the ballroom was a brilliant evening and a good start to the festive season. Ideal for groups of friends, and/or work colleagues. The food was really tasty (vastly improved from a previous event attended), the magician was indeed ‘magic’, the disco/cabaret act lively and fun – exactly what was required for a party night and... We stayed here last weekend and whilst the hotel was well presented and clean there were a few seemingly small but frustrating niggles which should be addressed. The main light in the bathroom flickered on and off repeatedly, which is fine if you're into strobe effects but it can make using the bathroom rather more of a challenge. We spoke... More
