This is a vile place to stop, I had paid online and when we arrived we wasn't greeted in a pleasant manor, our room was dirty with what looked like poo stains on the floor, a smashed bathroom window, toilet was filthy dust was everywhere, we left and lost our money it was that bad. the bed mattress was thin... i want alton towers with 3 family members and we stayed there as it was the nearest hotel for a good price. the rooms are nice but the breakfast is just awfull well if you would call it that but for just the sleep i would recomend it not bad at all for that

The interior is smart and clean. It lacks a little in atmosphere and the carvery is no more than average but not at all bad. A handy place to stay over en-route norht or south as convenient for M6.

I can't understand how this place can survive, it is so cheap! Room clean and tidy, water lovely and warm, plenty of heating. A little niosy with the road so close and a lorry depo (?) next door and decor a little dated but for £35 a night, what do you expect??
