What a great and tranquil location, we really enjoyed our visit, everyone as helpful and the setting was perfect, the room was well equipped and peaceful. We'd go again for sure. More

Stayed here for a couple of nights for a wedding in nearby Chiddingfold. I was initially a bit concerned about reviews saying the place was dirty and the service was poor, but this proved not to be the case at all. Our room was of a fair size, with a decent-sized TV (which was good as I wanted to watch... More

My daughter and son-in-law had their whole marriage celebration at Branksome Place in October and the majority of the day guests were staying at the hotel on the night of the wedding. We felt that the staff did an outstanding job in ensuring the day was a success and made the whole day feel very special. The very attractive grounds... More

Had a business trip to Surrey and visited Branksome Place again. Enjoyed last stay so decided to visit again. Had all amenities required for business trip and good training location. May well encourage a number of people I work with to get in touch with management to use location in future. Noticed that a high level organisation were already using... More

We booked in for 2 nights to go to a wedding nearby. The room was the smallest hotel room we have ever stayed in. There was no room to move around and nowhere to put your case. There was a small table one side of the bed but nothing the other side and no bed -side lights at all. The mattress... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review on Trip advisor. Firstly I would like to apologise for the faact that you went away disappointed. I have reviewed the room myself and I can assure you that I have taken on board your comments in relation to the peeling paint. Of course this will be rectified. However I... More

We booked to stay here for two nights over the weekend of the Goodwood Revival, and it is without question the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Externally it is falling apart; rotting woodwork, tiles falling off, rusty and peeling metalwork. Internally is totally devoid of character, the common parts reek of fish oil, and much of the furniture... More

Recent stay as part of a work committment in the area, in the 'Stone House' - what appears to be an arts and crafts type cottage down the drive from the main hotel. My room was small and fairly basic but nice furnishings and one didn't need any more than this. Cleaners had obviously been in each day and the... More

I stayed at this hotel for 8 whole weeks while on a training course along with 31 others. I feel I am well placed to write a review after experiencing 8 weeks of the place from May to July 2011. The staff were very helpful and the food was brilliant with an excellent head chef who came out into the... More

Without a doubt the most awful place we have ever stayed. Our room was filthy, the carpet not even hoovered, cobwebs everywhere, stains in the toilet, stains on the bedlinen. The reception girl was more interested in watching tv than checking us in. Another guest was hammering on our door and threatening us after we'd gone to bed accusing us... More

My wife and I booked a double room B&B at the Branksome Place hotel several months in advance and then looked forward to a luxury night away whilst attending a wedding in the area. We were allocated a room in a wooden building overlooking the car park - it was very small, about half the size of a standard hotel... More
