Stayed overnight on June 5 before our holiday. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. We ate in the bar downstairs and enjoyed our meal thoroughly. The menu had a varied choice and the only criticism was it was a little pricy. We had the parking package and were well satisfied overall. We will be back.

Everytime I come to Newcastle I stay here. I think its a great little hotel, staff are friendly and rooms are nice. Bit expensive but not too much. The breakfast is nice what you would expect from a budget hotel really.

We stayed one night to see a Neil Young and Crazyhorse gig in Newcastle ( that was a major let down!). Traveling for work you don't always expect much but this was a nice lol gem! Lovely breakfast and staff couldn't be more helpful to a confused southerner! The hotel was very good in all areas. The food was very good, the service was excellent. The swimming pool and sauna, although small, were a welcome addition. Room qua;ity was good for a double room. Excellent value for money. Friendly helpful staff. Didn't eat in the hotel but would have liked to a the menu looked good. Although situated near an airport the double glazing obviously works didn.t hear one plane or any traffic noise.

Several members of the staff were friendly and helpful but whilst the size, amenities and cleanliness of the room was fine, the carpet was stained and the general look was dull and dated. Selected this hotel as stayed a number of years ago. Was annoyed to discover that since my last stay parking charges had been introduced, not having to pay for parking in Newcastle Centre being a contributing factor in selecting this hotel. I mentioned this at reception and was told that I wouldn't be charged, only to be charged on checkout.... More
