I always stay at this hotel when on business in the Gateshead area of Newcastle. It is very good. Staff courteous, rooms excellent and pleasant ambience. The lobby has recently been refurbished to a high standard.

The holiday inn offers good value ,the set dinner being a great idea and excellent value. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly It is slightly isolated so a car is essential.Breakfast excellent and don't forget your swimwear

We stayed Sunday to Thursday and it was a generally pleasant experience. Our group of thirty ate in the restaurant each evening and we thught the menue was fairly good.
