Stayed at this hotel when going to a show at the metro arena.Ideal location only 5minutes away from the venue.Given a room on the 7th floor due to there being a lot of stag and hens do's but didn't hear a thing.Lovely room very spacious.Stated continental breakfast on booking form but was actually full English when we went to the... I stayed for one night here with my wife . Very nice hotel . Lovely room good food. Only fruit my wife asked for a glass of Pinot Grecio and was told that they don't sell Pinot by the glass. What's all that about I've never heard anything do stupid in my life. Staff were apologetic But looked very embarrassed... More

Having stayed in the Hotel a couple of times before when at show at the Arena decided to go for a third time - and again, was not disappointed! If travelling by train and going to the Arena this is the place to be. Five minutes at most from the Station and likewise to the Arena. We were allocated a... More

Good B&B in centre of Newcastle. Clean and comfortable rooms. Slept well. Breakfast all self service and was OK. It can get full and overbooked . A colleague had to be transferred to a different hotel. Gets full if the Metro arena is in use and stag and hens nights can be an issue.

Ideal location for Newcastle night life. Quite confusing how to get there, but once you know where it is, its only 5 minutes from the train station. They put us on the top floor away from the stag and hen parties, so that we wouldn't get disturbed. Breakfast states continental but its actually a buffet breakfast whereby you can have... More

This hotel was brilliant as a base for both the city and the Arena. We could walk to the Arena in 5 minutes for the gig, and 10 minutes to the great value Q1/Q2 bus service (from Central Station) for the Baltic and quayside etc. Extremely comfortable bed, clean room, friendly helpful staff, good quality value breakfast. Value for money... More

OK so great location near train station and centre of the city. OK - rooms clean and comfortable - although water pressure poor?? OK - staff friendly and helpful BUT I stayed on a sunday night and was shocked to find the restaurant was fully booked when I went down. Reception could have told me this at check-in I think.... Stayed here with a large group, Fab location 5 mins walk from the station. Rooms were clean and tidy, large bed plus 1 single for a 3 share room. Nice bar area and seating in reception. Taxis outside for guests and very reasonable. Noisy late at night on a weekend, people returning very late and being noisy in corridors etc.... More
