Have stayed here on two occasions, the hotel is situated perfectly for Brindley Place with its bistros and wine bars, also for shopping in the city. Check in efficient, room comfortable with good sound proofing from the busy broad street. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the food on the evening was excellent with attentive but... More

Excelletn stay at the Hyatt this weekend. We was advised the check-in time was 3pm, but the friendly and helpful staff allowed us to check-in early, which was perfect as it allowed me time to get changed and get down to the Pub to watch Villa beat the Wolves. The room was perfect, Bed was amazing, huge!!! Everything wwas as... More

The entrance ambiance and decor doesn't seem to extend beyond the foyer. Rooms are ok, all the facilities you would expect (no biscuits on the coffee tray though), iron and board in the room etc. Clean and tidy. Shower is rubbish. Way too low for a tall man, and needs it seems, millimeter adjustment to control the temp. Slightly too... More

Pros: Good location, good food albeit expensive, nice interior decor, decent rooms, some staff are friendly and polite. Cons: I've stayed in much nicer rooms at lesser hotels, non-functioning pool (until the refurb is complete - no prior warning), small gym, Wi-Fi charge of £5 per hour (this should be free), no car park (have to park at the NCP... I loved this hotel, the room was massive, we paid £76, had robes, slippers, complimentary apples on receptopn, bell boys to take luggage, and stayed on the 21st floor with a view of broad street and brindley place canals. I personally loved relxing in the room looking out onto the busy city and canals. The room was huge and we... More

Stayed here while visiting for shopping, a concert and the theatre. Excellent location; the bridge across to the Symphony Hall was very welcome on a cold, wet night. Efficient check in, cheerful, helpful staff. Decent sized room, clean and comfortable. It had a very good view over the canal area and was quiet, despite overlooking very busy area. The cocktail... As another review has mentioned, the swimming pool is currently closed (for about 3 months, I believe). I found this extremely disappointing since it was a major reason for our choice of hotel and there was no warning on the hotel website etc. However, the staff showed a high level of customer service quality when listening to my complaints and...
