Booked for one night, but didnt stay. Our first impression was not good, dowdy looking exterior, front entrance a single door stuck half open. The reception was just one small desk, more like a lecturn,in a small unattractive area, although the male receptionist was very pleasant. We made our way to lift, i say as singular because the second lift was... An ok place for a one night stop over if you are out on Broad Street, certainly not for couples, room was clean but very basic, one lift out of two not working and only a trickle of water from the hot tap! That said it was only £44 for the night and is smack in the middle of Broad Street... More

Booked here for a family get together in May. Booked 4 rooms, which we asked to all be together on one floor and they kindly did this. Having booked one room for a 12 o clock check in, this was also ready for when we arrive. This helped us so much to unload all cars and start the day off... More

This place is firmly targeted at hens parties, stag weekends and the folk who failed the audition for Geordie Shore / Jersey Shore / TOWIE etc. The reception consists of four tables and six chairs, three automated check in kiosks, an attendant and a security guard. None of our group, or the other 12 people attempting check in could get... More

Stayed here for a night as we were attending a concert at the symphony hall, which is just a 5 min walk. Good location and close to bars and restaurants..room ok,although a bit cold with very inadequate heating !!! served a purpose. and for £21 you cant complain...a bargain.

Stayed here whilst in Birmingham to watch Alicia keys at NIA, perfect location, walking distance to arena, great location for nightclubs around, walking distance to bullring or very shirt drive. Small car park behind £6 per 24 hours. We checked in at midnight so we were late, after concert and we were slightly worried when they said there were no... More

Well, first off, for £48 for 2 nights we weren't expecting the Ritz. The location was great, about a 10-15 minute walk to the City centre, lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very basic, and in dire need of a makeover. Tired, grubby looking carpets and paintwork. The bedding was... More

I'm going to start by saying; You get what you pay for! & Considering we only paided £21 for our overnight stay for two it was fine but they're definately areas for improvement. It's a good central location - about a 10-15 minuet walk to the city centre, 15-20 minuet walk to New Street train station and 15 minuets from... More

Stayed on business. Only good thing is the location with good bars and restaurants close by, which suited us. Alot of outside noise all night. Looks like it has been well used and abused over the years
