After reading the initial views I was hesitant to say the least. On arrival however I was repeatedly pleasantly surprised with how untrue the bad reviews are! I felt safe leaving my car on the car park and the hotel was much quieter then expected. If it wasnt for the odd doors closing every so often I would have easily... More

Other day site had £19 rooms special, when rang today was £30 a night. Mentioned was in area on business for 4 weeks, yet they still wouldn't provide a look long stay deal. They missed out on a 4 week booking. Bad business and sales.

we went here in October as its near cadburys world which we wanted to visit. The hotel is high up as the ground floor is shred by a KFC and a Greggs which was useful for dinner. Although it was a shred carpark but it was free so it was okay. our view was aldi carpark which was across the... More

Just stayed here for 5 nights - a good location for getting to Cadbury's World, Black Country Living Musuem and Birmingham City Centre - all within about 20 mins in different directions. Room very clean and kept so during stay - full marks to housekeeping staff. A friendly welcome at reception and didn't see much of staff apart from that... More

Just got back from a 2 nights stay to visit friends. The hotel is exactly what you expect from a budget hotel. The room is basic but, nothing wrong with that. had to ask for extra pillows and towels which we were given straight away. Needed extra teas and coffees but, they seems very reluctant to give us to many,... More

I would say for the money we paid it was good value, the hotel was quiet and we did not even hear other people in rooms (like some many other hotels) and no strange noises from pipes or anything. The only gripe is a few housekeeping issues, for instance we only had 3 pillows and one set of towels (we... More

I stayed at this hotel during midweek whilst working nearby. The room was clean, bathroom compact but clean. The room is cleaned each day and the hotel is very secure, you have to use your room card to gain entry into the building 24/7 as well as the corridors. I only saw a member of staff when I checked in... More

hotel is in awfull position. You share the car park with KFC and Brags bakery. Be prepared to get you car damaged.Beds are the worst ever very uncomfortable. I like the review by th area manger Eric White .. he would say it was good. Never bother staying here go to the travel lodge or look on late rooms.

Rooms were average, bed was comfortable, The staff were excellent and very attentive. Few minor things, our shower room did not have a shower curtain and for some reason our TV had no remote. I have to say my overall opinion of Travelodge is not great, however this location was pleasant and I would consider staying here again.

Just stayed for a whole week. Clean and comfortable and located very close to midlands motorway network. Two takeaways attached to main building. Highley recommended. 300 metres from local shopping centre. Staff are very attentive and only too happy to help. Rooms have the usual facilities.
